Keep Calm And Make This Taco Casserole For Dinner Tonight

Taco Tuesday’s are never the same at our house anymore with this casserole on the menu. It’s quick and easy to make and clean up is always so much faster. It’s perfect for a busy weekday night! You can’t really go wrong serving this taco casserole. Feel free to tweak it into your own special recipe. Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 can (15 oz) chili beans

1 can (8 oz) Hunt’s tomato sauce

2 tablespoons Chili’s taco sauce

4 teaspoons McCormick’s chili powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or salt

1 tomato, chopped

2 cups tortilla chips

1 cup Daisy sour cream

1/2 cup sliced green onions with tops

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

 

Instructions

Cook beef and drain. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, taco sauce, chili powder and garlic powder. Heat to boiling. Place chips in ungreased 12x8x2-inch baking dish. Top with beef mixture. Spread with sour cream. Sprinkle with onions, tomatoes and cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 20-30 minutes or until hot. Arrange additional tortilla chips around edge of casserole. Serve with shredded lettuce, chili peppers and taco sauce, if desired.
