Italian Cream Cheese Crock Pot Chicken – Easy And Pleasy!

Are you big on bold and robust flavor? I know that I sure am! That’s exactly what you’ll get when you make this recipe and enjoy it with your family. Plus, it’s seriously easy to make. How hard can tossing some ingredients into the slow cooker be? If you have the patience to wait for this yummy meal to finish cooking then you’re golden! Serve this amazing cream cheese chicken with garlic toast and a side salad.

 

So many times I’ve attempted to make an “easy” recipe only to discover that the ding dang thing was not east at all. That’s not the case with this truly easy Crock Pot meal.

Ingredients

3 lbs. chicken pieces

2 cups broccoli florets

1 package Italian salad dressing mix

4 tablespoons melted Kerrygold butter, divided

1 small onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, chopped

1 can Campbell’s cream of chicken soup

8 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese

1/2 cup College Inn chicken broth

Instructions

Place chicken pieces and broccoli florets in crockpot and sprinkle Italian salad dressing

mix over the chicken. Drizzle 2 Tbsp. melted butter over chicken.

Cook on low for 6 hours. Melt 2 Tbsp. butter in a saucepan and saute

onion and garlic. Add the cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and

chicken broth. Stir until smooth. Add this mixture to the crockpot

and cook on low for an additional 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
