Hot Crab Dip Coming Through!

I grew up in Maine, so seafood was a part of my childhood. Crab, lobster, and other yummy foods were common staples on our kitchen table. Those that don’t live in the area, like some of my college roommates, didn’t understand how normal it was for me to have these kinds of dishes regularly. They often thought it was special treat to have something like this in the apartment.

One thing that I loved to make them that really knocked their socks off was my mom’s famous hot crab dip. It’s just like this recipe from Group Recipes. It sounds super fancy, but it’s really easy to make and so very delicious.

We would often eat this just for dinner. With some bread or pita chips, it is a tantalizing dish that fills you right up. I still make this to this very day for my family.

My husband always gets super excited when he sees it coming together. I think it might be one of the reasons why he married me!
