I’m in love with Reese’s peanut butter cups.
I often buy a package whenever I’m at the groceries. They’re the type that I want to keep to myself for so long that I only eat one a day. They’re quite rich too so I don’t really indulge myself much, but I truly love them. I even search for them all the time even when I’m in another country. I remembered my trip to Singapore four years ago.
Me and three of my friends went to Universal Studios to experience the theme park in Singapore which boasted of new rides that year. Before we entered Universal Studios itself, we entered all the stores outside of it. One store was a chocolate store and we couldn’t really resist the temptation.
There were all kinds of chocolates in there! And it’s where I first encountered Reese’s white chocolate peanut butter cups. I bought like twenty packages that I would bring home only to find out we have them at the groceries here. I wondered why I didn’t see them before.
Anyway, I was ecstatic when I found this recipe that tasted similar to my favorite peanut butter cups. I made them once and my girl friends loved them! Quick Tip: If you find yourself with a lot of extra filling, spread the filling into a 9×13 pan and then spread the chocolate over the top.
