Home Run Turkey Bacon Sliders

I often make these for game day entrees, but I have also served them as an appetizer for dinner parties. They look pretty fancy so they are nice for entertaining guests. There is just enough there to hold people over without filling them up before the main course is ready. These are also ideal for tiny little hands that don’t want to eat the main entree. A couple of these and they are filled right up! Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Julie’s Eats & Treats:

“Layers of turkey, bacon and cheese made into cute little sliders. Cute and delicious that is!”

These look good and taste amazing…how can you go wrong?

Ingredients

15 King’s Hawaiian slider buns

1 lb shredded turkey

1 lb bacon, cooked

1 (8 oz) package Sargento sliced provolone cheese

1/2 c. butter, melted

3 Tbsp honey mustard

2 tsp poppy seeds

Instructions

Slice slider buns horizontally and arrange the bottom of the buns in a 9×13 baking dish.

Layer turkey, bacon and cheese on top of the rolls and place tops on buns.

Cut in between the slider buns to separate.

Mix together butter, honey mustard and poppy seeds in small bowl. Brush mixture on the rolls to cover the buns and drip between them.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Quick Tip: Use horseradish sauce in place of the honey mustard…excellent!
