Holy Potatoes! This Pork Chop Casserole Is Good!

My Granddad was the hardest working man that I ever knew. He worked as a carpenter, building houses and doing side jobs up until he was 73 years old! No matter how hard he worked though, there was always one part of the day that was important to him…dinner time! No matter how busy he was, he was always sure to be home to eat as a family. Now, that didn’t mean he got to stay home and at some times he had to go back out and finish up different projects, but he took at least an hour to spend with his family.

I know this because when I was young, my parents and I lived there until they could get their own house. Everyday when Gramps pulled in the driveway, it was my favorite part of my day.

Not only did I look forward to spending quality time with him and the rest of the family…I also knew it was dinner time! Grandma made an excellent pork chop and potato casserole like this one I found on Group Recipes some of those nights.

It was me and Grandpa’s favorite. Now I make it for my kids, and my very own hardworking husband!

Have made this for 46 years….only with milk instead of the sour cream. Pork chops on the top. A college friend gave me the recipe – she called it Country Style Pork Chops. It’s a family favorite!

This recipe looks delicious & can’t wait to try it!! There one problem, they say a carton of sour cream, there are a few size cartons of sour cream, what size carton or cups do u use??

Don’t know why these recipes are not verified before posting. The picture shows potatoes and instructions say the chops on top. No instructions on whether to cover or not and doesn’t give the size of sour cream either…
