The other day, I was browsing holiday breakfast ideas as I have a brood of family coming in for Christmas.
I came across a plethora of breakfast casseroles but one of them really stuck to me. It is a biscuit and gravy breakfast bake that looks so good I almost licked my computer screen. I was planning to make my family and friends biscuits and gravy anyway, the classic version. However, that would be seriously time-consuming. This casserole will save a ton of time and also money!
I cannot believe how easy this biscuits and gravy casserole is to make. It requires just a handful of ingredients and is super quick prep. In fact, you could prep this breakfast casserole the night before and leave it in the refrigerator until the morning.
I think this casserole will be seriously easy to double or even triple, too. When you have a family as large as mine you need recipes that are easy to double. Feel free to use any ground sausage that you want but I prefer Jimmy Dean sage sausage. I buy it in the bulk roll and it really makes this yummy casserole taste great. Enjoy!
