Gigi’s Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pork Chops

Gigi introduced me to a new dish just recently. She is a chef in the making. She finished college the same time as me, and started working the same year too. However, after a couple of years in the corporate world, Gigi found her calling. And it’s not in a cubicle balancing accounts. She found her calling in a kitchen when she was asked to help during a wedding.

Gigi now has her own catering services and she’s the one who cooks everything. She doesn’t accept really large crowds yet, but she is slowly getting there. Since Gigi lives just a few minutes away from us, her friends, she usually drives over to let us taste a few of her new dishes.

One of my favorites was her parmesan pork chops. These were pork chops smothered with creamy garlic sauce. I loved the combination of the meat and the sauce!

The meat was so tender (it could have gotten hard after the journey) and the sauce was creamy and garlicky and it just went so well with the cream. I asked her for the recipe, but as usual, she didn’t want to disclose it. She said it was a family secret.

It’s a good thing I found this recipe online which offers the same taste. Hope you will like it!
