Get Your Heart Set On This Soul-Pleasing Ham Bake

We are big ham eaters in my house, especially my husband.

His family demands ham for every holiday dinner. I swear, they’d eat ham over turkey on Thanksgiving if they could! So, without stating the obvious, we eat a lot of  ham dinners. I always make a big ham so that there are leftovers for soups and sandwiches. But, then it dawned on me, why not make a ham casserole?

I found this marvelous little ham bake casserole recipe on the Mr. Food website. I am really impressed by how simple the ingredients and instructions are. Plus, you can use a refrigerated pizza dough for the crust. How easy is that?

I personally opted to use my mom’s homemade pizza dough recipe but I’m super partial to the tastes of this dough. I really don’t like refrigerated pizza dough but feel free to use what you want. This recipe is very easy to double or triple when feeding a crowd. Enjoy!

Quick Tip: Place this casserole into a rimmed baking dish and place it on top of a cookie sheet so that no spillage gets in your oven. Such an easy peasy cleanup!
