Fettuccine Alfredo So Easy A Baby Could Make It

My sister and brother-in-law live about four hours away from us. Once in a blue moon, they will come up and surprise us for a weekend visit. Now, don’t get me wrong, these are some of my favorite times spent with them…the unplanned moments are always the best. The only problem is, a five person family suddenly turns into ten…and when it’s time for dinner, we sometimes have an issue.

Most of the time we will just go out to eat, but one particular weekend the youngest of their children wasn’t feeling so good, and we didn’t want to make him sit through an uncomfortable dinner. I took to the web to see what I could whip up easily for ten people.

I found this recipe for fettuccine alfredo on Group Recipes and knew it was going to work. Not only could I double up the batch, but it was a plainer meal that would be nice for someone with an upset tummy.

This went together so quickly and it fed the whole group until everyone was full. I highly recommend it the next time you’re in a pinch for dinner plans.
