Fast And Fun Pizza Muffins!

One of the coolest things about this recipe is that there aren’t many ingredients required. I usually have everything I need already in my house. If I’m out of pepperoni I will substitute ham or ground sausage. Yummy! These are so fun and easy to make, they are my go-to snack food when we have a house full of kids or for game day appetizers.

I do have to double or triple the batch because they disappear fast!

 

Ingredients

3/4 c Gold Medal flour
3/4 c milk
egg
3/4 tsp baking powder
4 oz Hormel pepperoni, diced
2 oz Kraft shredded mozzarella
2 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp dried basil or italian seasoning
warmed pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

In a bowl add the flour and baking powder. Stir in the milk and the beaten egg. Add mozzarella, basil and pepperoni.

Spray a 24 count mini muffin pan with cooking spray. ( or two 12 count muffin pans ).

Spoon even portions, about 1 teaspoon per muffin cup.

Bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until golden. Serve with your favorite pizza sauce or marinara. You can also use whatever cheese you prefer. We like the taste of the cheddar and mozzarella combined.
