Enjoy A Hot, Steamy Bowl Of Authentic Puerto Rican Soup – Make Sancocho!

My family is Cuban and we really love our culture, but we also really love incorporating other Hispanic cultures in our day to day lives whether that may be in the form of food, things we do, movies we watch, how we talk, or anything else.  It is just so much fun and we love everything from other cultures as if it is our own. All cultures have something neat that I love and it is so much fun to learn about it and discover the similarities and differences between my culture and someone else’s.

Well, the one thing we love most from other cultures, especially the Hispanic ones, is the FOOD! Oh my goodness, there is nothing like a good ol’ quesadilla, or a delicious bowl of arroz con gandules.  Everything from different cultures can be so delicious and amazing.

Well, recently we have been making more and more food from the Puerto Rican culture and it is so delicious.  That is why I really felt the need to share with you all my absolute favorite Puerto Rican dish: Sancocho.  Oh my goodness, we make this every year and it is absolutely amazing.  So good, so full of veggies and flavors we all love.
