Enjoy A Hot Plate full Of Uncle Neil’s Honey Sesame Chicken – You Won’t Be Sorry!

With the right amount of sweetness and saltiness, this chicken recipe is perfect for anyone who appreciates a good chicken dish. Just make sure you have grabbed a few pieces for yourself before the plate ends up empty. I assure you, it will be gone so fast! We had no leftovers of this meal which was kind of sad because I was still craving that sweet honey taste the next day. my husband really wnated to take some of the chicken with him to work, too. Next time!

When I made this, I was absolutely blown away. You just have to be a bit careful and thoroughly follow the instructions or else your sauce might end up differently than how it was supposed to be. It happened to me the first time. When I tried it again, it’s definitely one divine dish!

Ingredients

4 Tyson chicken breast cut into strips

1 Tablespoon Spectrum sesame seed oil

1 Tablespoon Bertolli olive oil

2 Tablespoon Great Value soy sauce

2 teaspoon Domino brown sugar

3 Tablespoon Argo cornstarch

7 Tablespoon Gold Medal flour

1 teaspoon Kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon McCormick pepper

Wesson vegetable oil for cooking

For Sauce:

2 Tablespoon Trader Joe’s honey

2 Tablespoon Heinz sweet chili sauce

6 Tablespoon Heinz ketchup

4 Tablespoon Great Value soy sauce

1/2 cup water

McCormick sesame seeds- toasted

Instructions

Cut chicken breasts into strips.

Combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame and olive oil, add chicken breast and marinate them for at least 1 hour (but you can leave them in marinade for a few hours if you have time)

Drain chicken.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan on medium heat.

Combine cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper.

Add chicken to flour mixture (don’t put all chicken at once, work in a few batches) toss it to cover each strip with flour well, transfer to a pan and fry until golden brown.

To make the sauce in a medium saucepan combine honey, chili sauce, ketchup, soy sauce and water, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until sauce starts to thicken.

Pour sauce over fried chicken, toss to coated all well, then sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
