The Easiest 15-Minute Peanut Butter Cookies You’ll Ever Make!

How many times did my mother catch me sneaking at night just to grab that peanut butter jar and eat from it? Countless of times. As a kid, our sugar and junk food intakes were controlled by parents. But then we were kids! Sugar was our life! I couldn’t go on for a day without sugar. Which seems so crazy to me, now that I think back on those times.

So the sugar-deprived, sneaky little me would tiptoe out of my bedroom at night, and down to the kitchen just to get a taste of that fluffy, sticky, yummy, and chunky peanut butter. I wouldn’t get caught while doing the act, but I would get caught in the morning because I was too short to reach the sink and wash my spoon.

The things we do for food are just too ridiculous and funny sometimes. But food brings us joy. Food is comfort. And we feel better whenever we “eat our feelings”.

For instance, whenever I feel down, I get a glass of warm milk, carry my cookie jar on the other hand, and sit in on the couch. I will eat my cookies until my bitter feelings are enveloped in sugary goodness. It’s the reason why my cookie jar is always full of my favorite peanut butter cookies.

I tend to get depressed at times. Or actually, I just really want to gorge on these delicious beauties most of the time. Here’s a simple but yummy recipe that will teach you how to make these “heaven-in-a-dough” dessert.
