These are always a crowd pleaser when we have company over. I have to double the recipe so that we don’t run out because they disappear so fast. Kids and adults alike have loved these each time that I have served them. If you don’t want to make a dip, regular ranch does the trick.
Ingredients
For the Fritters
1 1/2 cup white cabbage, finely chopped or grated
2 eggs
3 tablespoons Gold Medal flour
1 teaspoon dry oregano
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste
For the Dipping Sauce
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon Vlasic baby dill, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
For Frying
1/2 cup olive oil
Instructions
Mix well all the fritters ingredients.
Preheat olive oil to medium high heat in frying pan.
Scoop about 1 tablespoon to form 1 fritter. Fry the fritters for about 2 minutes per side or until they are golden brown.
Mix all dipping sauce ingredients together and serve with piping hot fritters.
