I love making my own dips from scratch, especially sour cream based dips. Sour cream based dips are so stinkin’ easy to make! All you do is add all of your seasonings and spices to the cream and stir. Let the stuff chill in the fridge for a few hours and you have a delicious party dip. I like to serve my dill pickle dip with a variety of dipping items like crackers, chips, and vegetables.
Check out what my pal, Erin, from the Making Memories With My Kids blog has to say about this recipe:
My boss brought this dip to the Christmas party this year. It was a huge hit! Definitely an appetizer that is going on my “must makes” for a party! The chunks of dill pickle are perfectly delicious.
I think the pickle chunks are the best part.
Ingredients
8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 cup Daisy sour cream
1 Tbsp. McCormick garlic powder
1 Tbsp. McCormick dill
1 Tbsp. Heinz Worcestershire sauce
1 cup diced Vlasic dill pickles
1/4 c. pickle juice
Instructions
Mix all of the ingredients except the diced dill pickles. When it’s smooth and creamy, fold in the dill pickles.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
