It was game day again…and we were hosting the event. We love spending time with our friends…especially when our teams are going up against one another. There’s nothing wrong with a little friendly competition right? We always have a few appetizers to munch on and generally I go super simple, chips and dip, pretzels, maybe some little hot dogs if I’m really feeling fancy…yup that’s about it.
This time, it was the big rivalry game of the season so we were having a few extra guests and I wanted to make something extra. I did a quick web search and found these cute little sloppy joes on Spend with Pennies. I knew they would be just what I needed to offer my friends when their team lost to cheer them up. 😉
Well, at halftime, we were ahead by quite a bit so I didn’t wait and handed these around. Everyone was in an instant better mood and the second half of the game went just the way I expected it to…we won! And I won with these sliders.
