This is one of those recipes that makes your mouth water. The incredible flavors lingering in your house when you cook this… Yummy! In fact, the other day, when I made this, my daughter walked in the door after school and said, “What are you making that smells so good, mom? I can smell it from outside the door!” That was a proud moment for me because normally my kids are quite the picky eaters.  Mom win!

Know that this cube steak recipe is very easy to assemble and make. The flavor of the gravy reminds me a little bit of beef stroganoff. You and your family are going to LOVE this recipe!

 

Ingredients

1-2 pounds cubed steak

8 oz. sliced mushrooms

6 oz. Daisy sour cream

1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

12 ounces College Inn Beef Broth

1 onion, sliced

2 teaspoons Oregano

½ teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Pepper

½ teaspoon McCormick Garlic Powder

1 teaspoon Paprika (smoked or regular)

Instructions:

Place cubed steaks in bottom of 5 or 6 quart crock pot. Add the onions.

In a bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients. Pour over cubed steaks.

Cover and cook on low 7-9 hours or on high 4-5 hours.
