Crock Pot Mashed Potaters? Why Not!

I want to share this with you as well so that you would be able to prepare something simple and yet special to the people that you love. We love food a lot that is why I like to cook this dish and put it in the fridge so that whenever we feel hungry we have something delicious to eat every day. Feel free to add bits of ham, bacon bits, cheese, and other yummy things that your famiyl enjoys to the potatoes.

Check out what my friends over at Lecremedelacrumb.com have to say about this recipe:

“Made this for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit! Thanks for sharing.” – Deepa

I agree with Deepa’s thoughts. This recipe would be perfect for special occassions such as thanksgiving. I am planning to cook it this holiday though since my sister just keeps on asking me to make one for her as a gift. It really flatters me that my family fell in love with this recipe, it makes me feel like a professional chef.

Ingredients

2 pounds red potatoes, cut into 2 inch pieces (you can peel them but I never do – I love red potato skins in my mashed potatoes!)

½ cup Daisy sour cream (or plain greek yogurt)

¼ cup milk

2 teaspoons minced garlic

2 teaspoons Morton Salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Spray the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray. Add chopped potatoes. Cover and cook 2-3 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low.

Add sour cream, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper to potatoes. Use a hand mixer to blend together all ingredients.
