Creamy Sausage, Potato, And Swiss Chard Soup – Warm Yourself Up!

Ingredients:

1 lb Johnsonville spicy Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled.

1 medium size onion – chopped

2 cloves garlic – minced

3 large russet potatoes – scrubbed

2 qt College Inn chicken broth

3 c chopped kale or swiss chard

1 pt Borden heavy cream

Sargento grated parmesan cheese

Instructions:

Brown and crumble sausage and drain well.

In a large stockpot, bring chicken stock to a boil. Cut potatoes (with skin on) in half lengthwise then slice. Add potatoes to stock with onion and garlic. Cook until potatoes are done. Add sausage and simmer for 10 minutes. Add kale and cook for 5 minutes. Add cream and simmer for another 5 minutes. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese.
