This is a great recipe for serving a crowd; it makes 8 servings, and if you add some fresh salad and dinner rolls on the side, even a larger group will be stuffed by the time they leave the dinner table.
I like to add a little bit of heavy cream, just to make this extra creamy – but the flavor is delightful even if you want to leave it out. You can hide all kinds of vegetables in this dish, if you’d like, and your picky eaters won’t notice. My 5-year-old always devours this in minutes!
