An easy weekday lunch recipe that will satisfy your need for warm comfort food.
You know, since I’ve become a homeschooling mama I’ve had to get creative with my lunches. My kiddos got tired of sandwiches and soup every day. I was browsing the internet for ideas and I came across this wonderful website called Me Lady Cooks. What a great blogger the owner of the site is! She had a recipe for creamed peas and toast that looked really good. So, I made the food and tested it out on the kids.
Much to my surprise, my kiddos loved this recipe! Thank you so much, Me Lady Cooks, for sharing this with us. This recipe is going into my monthly meal rotation and staying there forever 🙂
Anyway, I bet you are biting at the bit to get your hands on this delicious casserole, yes? Well, wait no more, my friend. Simply flip over to the next page for a complete list of ingredients and instructions. Enjoy!
Thank you, Me Lady Cooks for this great recipe.

Quick Tip: I like to brush the chicken with lots of butter and then season it with garlic salt or Old Bay.
My Mom, Who is now parilized on her left side and lives in a nursing how since 2010, and myself loved to make creamed peas on toasted shrimp sandwiches. Havn’t had that in years and can’t have it now as I live with my oldest son who is very allergic to shell fish. Memories
have had it shrimp, small ones
We’ve always added tuna fish to it
us too—was our Christmas Eve staple. Might just have to add it to my list for Lent..
