This root beer float pie recipe is perfect for potlucks or a simple get together in the evening with friends. They will love the “just right” sweetness of this pie and also its creaminess. You will never go wrong with serving this. Who doesn’t like root beer float? I know no one, actually. From my family to my friends, everyone adores a good serving of root beer float.
It’s a good thirst quencher most especially during summers and it just goes so well with fries and burger. But whether or not you’re a fan of root beer float, this pie version will definitely make you fall in love!
Ingredients
3/4 cup cold diet root beer
1 carton (8 ounces) Great Value frozen reduced-fat whipped topping, thawed, divided
1/2 cup McArthur fat-free milk
1 package (1 oz.) Jell-o sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
1 Pillsbury graham cracker crust (9″)
Instructions
Set aside 1/2 cup whipped topping for garnish. refrigerate.
Whisk the root beer, milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Fold in half of the remaining whipped topping. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust.
Spread whipped topping over the pudding mixture. Freeze overnight, or at least 8 hours.
