Black Bean Soup That Touches The Soul

Whenever the winter months hit, I always start to get the craving for soups. I have done the potato, chicken noodle, and other traditional flavors, this time I wanted something else. After scouring the internet for a unique meal, I came across this Black Bean Soup on Group Recipes. Now, I’m not a huge fan of beans, and most of my family isn’t either, but I thought, let’s give it a try.

Everyone finished their first helping and most came back for seconds! It really easy to make and so festive looking it really brightened up the overcast winter day. This is an affordable dish that I’m sure we will be enjoying again soon.

It makes 12 servings so that was a bit much for our family of four, but I just froze the leftovers in individual containers and we pulled them out for a quick meal whenever there was only one of us that wanted something delicious to eat!

Quick Tip: Use less jalapeno or cut it right out if you don’t like spicy soups.
