These Baked Cheese Sticks Are Twisted!

These are also excellent for entertaining with. Because they are baked, you can make a lot more at one time. I served them for Super Bowl this year and I think they were the first food item to disappear. Not only do the adults enjoy them, the kids love them too. I feel a little less guilty watching my ten year old scarf down four of these bad boys versus four of the deep fried version. It’s like he can’t even tell the difference. Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Julie’s Eats & Treats:

Ingredients

6 Mozzarella & Cheddar Twists Cheese Sticks, frozen

1 egg, beaten

1/4 c. Gold Medal flour

2 tsp Lawry’s seasoned salt

1/2 c. Potato Chips, crushed

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Place beaten egg in a bowl. In separate bowl mix flour and seasoned salt together. Place crushed chips in separate bowl.

Dip frozen cheese stick in egg, dredge in flour. Dip in cheese stick in egg again then roll in chip crumbs and make sure they are thoroughly coated.

Place on baking sheets and bake 3-4 minutes, flip and cook another 3-4 minutes.
