My daughter was new to the dating scene. She was finally sixteen and she couldn’t wait to get out there. My husband still didn’t think she was old enough. I wanted her to experience high school though, so we compromised and let her date at this age rather than when she was thirty like my husband would have preferred. One of her very first boyfriends, she was super excited about of course.
My husband told her that if things were going to get serious that he needed to meet the fella. I suggested that he come over for dinner. I made this hamburger alfredo that I had seen on Recipe Lion and we had a very nice meal.
I think the poor boy was terrified the entire time, but that’s part of growing up right? He still comes around to this day so we must have not been all that bad. He always asks when I’m making this casserole again too. It must have been a winner!.
