Add This Monster Ziti To Your Regular Menu Rotation

Perhaps the best thing about this recipe is the fact that generally, I already have everything listed here in my fridge and pantry. So, when I reach one of those weekdays when I have no idea what to make, this is my go-to recipe. It’s super quick, very easy to put together, and my family always enjoys it. There is a pretty hearty pan that comes out of these few ingredients so there is always enough to go around. The leftovers keep nicely too and can be reheated for lunch the next day. Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Group Recipes:

This makes a great alternative to traditional spaghetti. Fills you up with a whole new taste.

Ingredients

1 pkg of Ziti noodles or mostaccioli noodles,

1.5 lbs. of ground hamburger

1 BIG jar of Ragu spaghetti sauce

1 jar of ricotta cheese

1 lb. bag of Kraft mozzarella cheese

1 green pepper

1 onion

Instructions

In a large pot boil water with some salt in it. Add noodles, boil for about 10 to 12 minutes. Then drain. Preheat the oven to 350°.

Chop up onion and peppers into small pieces.

Start to brown O & P in a large skillet.

While they are browning add ground beef. Season and cook.

Mix the sauce into the skillet and heat. Then add the ricotta cheese and mix it all together. Then add the noodle and make sure that it all gets covered evenly.

Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13 in. baking dish. Then cover with mozzarella cheese, not too thick.

Bake uncovered for about 30 min.

Let cool and serve.
