Back in the day, when me and my siblings were young, both of my parents worked all day.
Throughout most of the year, we didn’t really notice that they were gone. They would get home shortly after we would from school, so we didn’t really miss each other by that much. In the summer though, it was a different story. We were home all day long while they were at work, at that could be a long day sometimes when you’re stuck in the house waiting for them to return.
Mom would usually just tell us to have a sandwich or warm up something in the microwave for lunch. It was pretty boring. Once in a while, she would make these pizza loaves just like this recipe on Facebook.
My brother could practically eat a whole one himself, so she would make two different ones; one for him and one for me and my sister to share. I kind of forgot about them until I saw this recipe. Now, I can make them for my kids this summer!

Quick Tip: If you’re using different meat, reduce the ground meats to 1/2 pound each.
It says “spoon filling INTO loaf”. Does that mean you gutted the loaf of bread, or did you put filling on top of loaf halves ?
I just placed it on top. Sorry for the confusion 🙂
