I got a call from my daughter and she told me that she had got stuck working a double shift at her job at the hospital. Her husband was out of town on business, so she was wondering if I could pick up the kids from school, bring them to my house, feed them, do their homework, and put them to bed. She would be here by morning to wake them up and get them ready for a new day.
Of course I can do that! I was super excited to have the opportunity to have them over. I was a little nervous about what to feed them, but my daughter assured me that they weren’t too picky, and just to be safe, they liked cheeseburgers.
Before I headed out to pick them up from school, I did a quick search and found this recipe on Julie’s Eats & Treats for cheeseburger bundles.
That was it! I grabbed the ingredients from the store, and picked the little kiddos up from their schools. We made these together at home and they were a huge success.
