Summer is by far my favorite season out of the year. Maybe, when I am older and my kids move away, I will decide to relocate where I can enjoy more of the season. But for now, I am going to stay put. Unfortunately, summer only lasts about three months. I try to take advantage of every single day of the warm the weather. At least once a week, my husband and I will head down to the local golf course and shoot nine holes, depending on how much time we have. When we have completed our round, we usually head into the club house for some refreshments.
I simply adore their cheese sticks. They are deep fried and golden brown perfection that I look forward to almost as much as the warm summer sun. This year, during the colder winter season, a craving for those yummy treats kicked in.
We don’t have a deep fryer though, and I refuse to get one. I found this recipe on Julie’s Eats & Treats and just knew it was the perfect answer to my undeniable want for cheese sticks! They were simple to make and they turned out so good. Now, when I can’t make it into the club house, these are the appetizers that I go for.

I have no idea as I’ve never heard of them either. Just use potato chips…any brand you fancy 🙂
