If you are a peanut butter and chocolate fan, this recipe is for you! My husband absolutely loves the combination. I will be honest, just up until a few years ago, I absolutely adored the combination, too. It was nutty, creamy and really yummy. But somewhere along the way, I lost my love for it. I just thought it was too sweet and a little strange. It was not my favorite anymore, although I could eat it if I had to.
It was just alright at best. However, my husband still adored that combo, so I continued baking things with it. I made Reese’s cookies, lots of homemade peanut butter cups, many cupcakes and other things.
All of them were delicious, but none of them struck my fancy. I was just whatever about them and thought they really could be better. Well anyway, one day I found this recipe and decided to give it a go.
I thought I would try it and if it was good, I would remake it a week later for my husband’s birthday. Well, I tried it and guess what? I absolutely loved it! It made me love the combination again as well as the texture and flavor.
