Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack…it doesn’t matter what time of day it is, I can always go for a grilled cheese sandwich. It’s a classic favorite that we always devoured when I was younger. Many times, cheese, bread, and butter was all that was in the house to eat. With that, you can make what I thought was a gourmet meal. That was, until I cam across this mouthwatering recipe on Spend with Pennies.
A grilled cheese sandwich is fantastic by itself, but try adding bacon and dill pickle to the mix. The picture looked good enough to eat, so imagine how I felt when it was sitting in front of me. After making this for myself one day, I whipped them up for my entire family for dinner.
It was a definite crowd pleaser. Even my youngest daughter, (who doesn’t like anything) scarfed hers right down. This is my new way to enjoy grilled cheese. I don’t think I’ll ever go back.
