Grandma always made the best breakfast casseroles at her house. Grandpa needed a big hearty meal before heading out to the farm for the day, and she was there to deliver. This ham and hashbrown casserole that she used to cook was my favorite. I could never seem to get all the ingredients just right until I found this recipe on All Recipes. As soon as I saw it I knew it was the one.
There were only a few ingredients, and that’s all that Grandma ever used. She never like to get too fancy with her meals. It was too expensive.
I printed this out and waited for the weekend. When my family woke up, they were pleasantly surprised that I had prepared something so complex. Little do they know it was really very simple to make.
Everyone inhaled it and came back for a second helping. The pan was scraped clean and I only had one dish to wash up. This is a casserole that we will be having at our house a lot in the future.
