Mom’s Bran Muffins Are My Forever Favorite!

I love breads that aren’t too sweet because I love getting carried away with the spread. One of my favorite breads in the whole world is rye bread. For one, its really crusty on the outside but moist on the inside. And two, there is that hint of sourness that is perfect for sweet spreads. I love eating rye bread with a hefty spread of jam and cream cheese or jam and butter.

I love eating it with ham and lettuce too, plus a huge slice of cheese and mayonnaise. When we were just middle school students, Mom used to make these bran muffins that only I loved. My dad didn’t like them because he never liked muffins.

My brother didn’t like them because they tasted bland. I was just happy because none for them meant more for me. Mom made the most delicious bran muffins and this recipe that I found over at Sweet Tea Sweetie reminds me of those muffins that I used to keep to myself.

This muffin recipe gives birth to a more flavorful bran muffin that even the pickiest eater will love!
