Make Dinner Simple Tonight With Ground Beef And Cheesy Noodle Bake

This is a great recipe and everyone should give it a shot, especially if you are partial to ground beef casseroles. Plus, it’s super easy to make as it uses ingredients that you most likely have on hand. I think this dish is also quite economically sound. So, there you have it, few ingredients, cheap, and simple to toss together. Who could ask for more? My kids and husband really enjoy this casserole and ask for it often.

I think I’ll make this for lunch sometimes, too! I have always viewed it as a dinnertime recipe but you know what? Lunch works! Thank you for all of the amazing suggestions 🙂

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Morton salt

Dash of pepper

½ teaspoon Domino sugar

2 (8 ounce) can Hunt’s tomato sauce *

6 ounces of Barilla egg noodles

1 (4 ounce) Philadelphia cream cheese, softened

6 green onions, chopped

1 cup Daisy sour cream

Kraft cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown beef; drain fat. Add next 5 ingredients and simmer. Cook noodles; drain. Mix cream cheese with green onions and sour cream in a small bowl. Add cheese mixture to hot, drained noodles and mix well. In a 9 inch pan, alternate layers of sauce and noodles. Top with shredded cheese. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.

I love the recipes from the Recipe Patch. There are so many. I want to try them all, and I don’t even like to cook. I’m sure I will use this site often. I first saw this post from Brenda Johnson’s post. Thanks BRENDA?
