For as long as I can remember, my mother made casseroles with ground beef. There was also those times where she told me she used ground beef but really snuck in ground venison. I love eating deer jerky but ground venison? Nope. I think deer meat has such a gamey taste to it. Have you ever made a casserole with ground venison? My mother would mix it in with the beef but I could still tell that it was there even though mom said that I couldn’t and the only reason I could taste it is that she told me about it beforehand. LOL probably.
Whether you use ground beef or ground deer meat in this delicious cheesy noodle casserole just know that it is bound to be delicious. However, if you’re making it for me please use ground beef haha! I found this casserole super easy to make and my husband and kids really enjoyed it.
I even took a small serving of it over for my dear neighbor Sally to try. Sally gave it two thumbs up but said it would have been better with ground venison. Of course!
