Magical Cream Cheese Tortilla Roll-Ups

After the holidays, I opened my refrigerator only to find about four packages of cream cheese that I hadn’t used up. Okay, so I went a little overboard this year buying the cream cheese.

Just about every dip and dish I make to take during this time requires cream cheese and last year it seemed like I was always running out. Anyways, now I was at the point that I had to find something to do with all of this before it went bad.

Another thing that’s always in my fridge, thanks to my picky little eaters, is plain tortilla wraps. I thought, I bet I can mix these together somehow. When I searched the web, I found a recipe for tortilla and cream cheese wraps on Mom & Wife.

How perfect! I had all the ingredients I needed already on hand and my kids were going to be home from school in less than an hour wanting a snack. I whipped these up and had them ready and waiting when they burst through the door.

They devoured this little snack in no time. I made different variations the next couple days and used up all my cream cheese. Nothing got tossed and I had a new snack to make for parties and after school. Yay me!

I mix one package of ranch dip mix with two bricks of cream cheese, add some diced green onions, cilantro and 1 jalapeno pepper. Spread on tortillas, roll and cut just like this recipe and you have Mexican sushi!

WHY DO i HAVE TO DOWNLOAD SOMETHING TO MY COMPUTER TO JUST PRINT THE RECIPE. SORRY I WILL NOT ADD ANYTHING TO MY COMPUTER THAT MY SAFETY FEATURES SAYS IT IS DANGEROUS OR IT COULD BE SPAM
I should be able to print with out the red tape.

BJ, there is no “red tape” when it comes to printing our recipes. We do not require you to download anything. You probably ran into a popup of some sort. If you have a printer connected to your computer you should be able to print our recipes. Simply, copy and paste the recipe to a Word document and hit print. 🙂

i never download..lol..i get a pen and paper and write the recipe out..it,s not hard..my god..when did we all become o lazy .

I can’t get to the recipe to write it down manually or copy and paste it without having to download something…and that I won’t do. I can usually figure out the recipie concept by reading the comments…

Hi, Debbie! Our sites do not require you to download anything in order to view the recipes. Perhaps you are experiencing some form of popup or ad on your computer. Or, it could be that your flash player is out of date.

I totally agree with the “why do I have to dowloan something” ….especially with all the RANSOM ware running around the internet.

You do not have to download anything to access our sites. Chances are, you are clicking on an ad or you are experiencing pop-ups. Hope this helps.

I’ve made these for years but with no olives and my recipe calls for 1 pack of Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix (dry), and a small jar of pimentos. Drain the chilies and pimentos. Very good!

Will be trying this with spinach tortillas, and adding roasted red pepper. Love seeing good recipes, and am altering only because that is what I have on hand to work with. Thanks!
