I have a lot of workaholic friends. We didn’t come from rich families so we knew the value of hard work, which was why when we finally found ourselves stable jobs, we always worked hard. It’s the reason why we just saw each other during weekends, sometimes we didn’t even see each other for a couple of months just because all of us were working. One of my most hard working friends though was Amelia. Amelia is a freelance anything.
She’s so talented so she does programming, she writes, she designs, and she also organizes events. Whenever we have small get-togethers, she rarely went because she’s either out of town or out of the country for her projects.
When Amelia has her day offs though, she always preferred to spend them with us. That happens about once every two months. She always said she’d rather spend the day having fun with friends that relaxing alone and lonely. The last time she had a day off, she invited us all and cooked for us. She really outdid herself the whole day. She spoiled us actually. One of the food served that night was cheesy beef bake with a lot of onion rings on top to give it that delicious twist.
That was probably the most popular dish that day and we all complimented her. I will share with you a similar recipe. I have a feeling that your friends and your family will absolutely adore this recipe as much as me and my friends did.
