Cream Scones – Delicate, Dainty, And Delicious

My cousins love to bring new games whenever we meet, or just something that we will all enjoy as the different generations in our family do their own things.

The oldest generation, which is composed of my parents and my aunts and uncles, usually just loves to talk after one great meal. One of my aunts will make lemonade for everyone and she will bring a pitcher and glasses outside the back porch where they are all gathered. The youngest generation, which is composed of my niece and my nephews, loves to play and run around them.

The older generation usually loves to keep them one their sight. We, the middle generation, just stay inside the house and enjoy whatever indoor game is available. Most of the time, it’s a board game.

That time though, one of my cousins brought a huge piece of the puzzle that has about a thousand pieces on them. That was what we did the whole day. It was very difficult because the puzzle pieces were really small and there were very few of us.

We were so engrossed on it that one of our aunts served us with the snacks that we’re supposed to be serving. Over cups of tea and cream scones that tasted really delectable, we were able to finally put together the whole puzzle just before dinner. It was a family portrait.
