Country Style Fried Round Steak

My husband and I both grew up in the South. We ate traditional Southern food at home, and whenever we went out anywhere. That’s all they had. After my hubby got promoted at work…(yahoo!)…we were forced to relocate up North. It was a sad day when we drove away from the town we had loved so much. But on the horizon, we saw a grand new adventure and tons of opportunity. We got used to our new surroundings and even had a few kids. There was something that was always missing though.

That Southern style home cookin’! It was our anniversary so I wanted to surprise my hard-working man with something that he would love.

I found this recipe on The Pioneer Woman and it was perfect. He was so happy and even my kids ate them without any complaints!

I’m so excited that I can now share the meals we grew up eating with our little ones. Yee-haw!
