I feel like word has gotten around my cousins. I just find myself hosting their kids every weekend while they and their spouses will have a date night. It’s fine because it is usually only for a night. And I’m okay with it because I truly find my nephews adorable and fun to be with. But it would still be nice to be given a warning sometimes. My cousins never give me warnings!
My nephews are usually behaved when they are with me. They know I get angry when they misbehave and they really try their best to be nice. Most of them are also at that age where they already know that I need to work so they need to behave.
But just as a precaution, I always make sure that I have a plan B that I am executing as plan A, if that even makes sense. That plan B often involves food, food that I am sure will make them behave the whole night. They usually love burgers and any dessert like cookies or cakes.
