“He was all bark but he never bites,” was what my Mom always told me and my brother when we were kids whenever someone would try to antagonize us. She told us that usually, those people who did and said bad things to you didn’t really hate you, they just thought you had something that they didn’t have so they’re making life hard for you because of it. My brother has one antagonizer when we were kids. His name was Henry.
Henry’s mother wasn’t a good cook. So he was envious that my brother always had this delicious food and sweet desserts.
When my brother had learned about it, he had offered Henry one of his fruity bark candies one day. Ever since then, they became friends. Henry was one of the Grooms Men in my brother’s wedding.
