A Standing Ovation And A Blue Ribbon For These Baked Beans With A Sweet Twist!

This is my favorite recipe for baked beans now and the kids think it’s delicious, too. I’m not surprised at all that these baked beans have received so much praise from my family and friends. I LOVE these yummy beans and the pineapple that is swimming around in them. Talk about a kick of sweet mixed with savory! I’m super excited about this recipe and I know you will be too so let’s stop chattering and get to making it!

It really is a great dish for a BBQ; super simple to make, and it’s also very easy to double or even triple the ingredients for a larger crowd.

Ingredients

2 cans 16 oz pork n beans

1 can 20 oz can Dole pineapple chunks, drained

2 Tbsp real bacon bits

1 Tbsp dried onions

2 Tbsp Domino brown sugar

1 Tbsp Heinz Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp mustard, yellow

Instructions:

Drain pineapple and reconstitute the onions in the pineapple juice.

Mix together the beans (do not drain) and sauce with pineapple, bacon bits, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Drain the juice off the onions and add them to the beans, mix well.

Bake in 325 oven for 90 minutes.
