Ingredients
5 slices Oscar Mayer bacon, cut in half
1 package Pillsbury Grands Biscuits (5 count)
4 ounces fresh Mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons Land O’ Lakes butter
1 clove garlic, finely minced
oil for frying
toothpicks
Instructions
Heat oil in a large, heavy-bottomed skillet over medium high heat to 350 degrees F.
In a small bowl, add garlic and butter. Melt butter in the microwave. Set aside.
Cut Mozzarella into 10 small pieces, and pat dry with paper towels.
Open biscuit package, and cut each biscuit in half. Press each half flat. Brush a small amount of the garlic butter on each half.
Add a piece of cheese to each half and fold dough over to seal. Wrap each piece with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Fry for approximately 3 minutes, turning to brown all sides.
Drain any excess oil on paper towels. Remove toothpicks and serve with warm marinara sauce.
