Minda has three kids. Two of them, her ten-year-old boys and one of them, her husband. Her husband still acts as a kid sometimes and that makes her take care of three kids instead of two. Minda is an ex-neighbor-turned-friend of mine. Her family transferred because they found a bigger house that could accommodate two growing boys. I established a friendship with him because I used to babysit for her when I was in college.
Her boys were truly a handful which was probably why she was a bit kinder towards me. She used to feed me apart from paying me. I visited her once because she doesn’t live that far really, just a few minutes away from my neighborhood.
There’s when I first tasted her burgers. Her burgers weren’t the usual burgers. Her burgers have cheese inside that oozed out whenever you took a bite.
Me, the cheese and meat lover, considered that divine! I found a similar recipe over at Food For My Family that reminds me of that wonderful afternoon spent at Minda’s backyard. I will never forget the taste of that burger.
And if you want to have a taste of it too, this recipe will show you what to do!

Quick Tip: When you pull the burger off the grill, it is not time to eat. Your burger needs to rest for a good five to ten minutes, although the outside air temperature will determine the exact rate of cooling. Nobody wants a mouthful of burning cheese. Give it a minute to come down to a reasonable temperature.
