My mother taught me everything that I know about cooking when I was growing up.
She never gave me a step-by-step lesson but I learned just by watching her in the kitchen. My mother was very proactive at having us girls be with her in the kitchen while she cooked. When I was a teen I was a bit annoyed by having to help but now that I am married with my own family I am quite thankful for mom’s kitchen lessons.
