Would You Believe You Can Make This In Your Crock Pot?
My whole family loves ham so much that we have basically removed turkey from our Thanksgiving and Christmas menus.
It’s not that we don’t like turkey – we do, but we seemed to have more and more turkey leftovers every year. At the same time, the ham was always gone in record time and everyone was asking for one more helping. So we thought, the heck with traditions, we’re just going to eat ham and let others enjoy turkey!
Over the years I’ve collected an impressive amount of ham recipes but it wasn’t until last year that I got this one from one of the ladies at the church. It looked sooo inviting that I had to give it a try, even though I had my doubts about it. I had never made ham in a slow cooker before and I was afraid it would turn out kind of watery, or something.
I was wrong… By the time I had added the glaze my kids were already going crazy, waiting to have their first bite of this. The whole house smelled so good – and I bet it took me 15 minutes, max, to make the preparations.

Quick Tip: Save the ham bone for later, it’ll make a killer soup!
That sounds wonderful.
Do you have to use a picnic ham? I prefer an uncured spiral ham.
this site moves up and down whole time i am trying to copy recipe.(printer not wrking) why does it do that?
