I have tried just about every tater tot casserole dish on the planet. They are good, don’t get me wrong, but this time, I was looking for a fresh and fun new appetizer. That’s when I stumbled upon this sweet tater tots and bacon recipe on The Cutting Edge Of Ordinary. It sounded perfect for the upcoming birthday party we were having for my teenage son. Him and around four of his friends would be here to play video games, and probably more importantly, eat.
I wanted to give him something different than the normal chips and pizza that I usually served. My son, like most guys, just loves bacon. And everyone likes tater tots. I knew this would be great. I made the recipe directly as it states and these were gone in a matter of minutes.
Good thing I had another course coming, otherwise we would have had a group of hungry guys on our hands. Now when I make these for the kids that tend to take over my house, I always at least double the recipe. They go quick so get yours while they’re hot!
