One of the things I look forward to the most throughout the year is when the local fair comes to town. It is something that really just warms my heart and makes me nostalgic. I have spent so many years going to that fair and although my mom would rarely let us ride the attractions (she said they were not safe since they were constantly being torn down and then built back up), we enjoyed the games, food and fun at the fair.
It is fun for me just to walk through it and see the lights, colors and smell the food. Speaking of food. What is a good fair day without fair food? Nothing, right? Yep! Fair food is what can either make or break the full on fair experience.
It can make it a day to remember, or a day from down below. Well, let me tell you friends, I am lucky to have experienced far more good fair food days than bad and boy do I love it! My fair food favorites have always been two things: corn on the cob and funnel cakes. However, if I really had to choose one, I think I would go with the funnel cakes!
