My Grandma was always a meat and potatoes kind of cook. I don’t know if it was what she liked, or what Grandpa did, but we always had a complete, at least three course meal whenever I went over there.
That might be why I think that I always have to serve that to my family now. We never sit down without a meat entree, potatoes, rice, or noodles, and a vegetable at the least. Sometimes we will do a casserole, but that always has all of that inside of one dish.
When I came across this chicken on Group Recipes, I couldn’t wait to serve it to my family. The response was overwhelming from my husband and even my little picky two-year-old.
Everyone just loved it. “Good job honey!” is something that I always like to hear after making any dish. This is a recipe card that I will keep near the front of my book and make it time and time again for sure.
